How Are You?

How Are You?

This is a question people go around asking all the time. Bu,t are they really asking or just doing what society has ingrained into them with these 3 words, How are you, How are you, How are you.

On and on, we go all day asking just randomly without any thought or real care in what we are asking.

So for this weeks 7 Days of Principle, I want you to firstly ask yourself

How Are You?

After all, you are the person you have the most conversations with. And will ever have the most conversations with in your whole life.

So listen intently to what you are saying to yourself and how you are saying it.

So, if you are not doing so already, I would suggest for your own mental health and all those around you, its best to keep those conversations

The list is endless. Yes we all have our down days, but if you keep telling yourself the same story just say to yourself, How do I want the story to end.

No-one likes a sad ending of anything now do they.

So, going on to asking anyone else how they are. Think, before you ask like a robot. In fact, do something to really connect with someone you have been meaning to.

Call them or better still go and visit them if you can, and sit and look them in the eyes with meaning, compassion and depth and ask the Real Question

How Are You?

Say it with meaning and depth. After all, if there is no depth to what you say and do every day of your life ask yourself the question

What is my life all about?

Reach out, to someone in need or someone who you see is homeless, in need, elderly, isolated.

Connect and do something outstanding this week instead of just randomly going through the day, staring at your phone, really ask

How Are You?

Of course, I am not saying there is anything wrong with Asking How are you, it is just that doesn’t everything feel better, when it is done with a real depth of feeling and true meaning and honesty.
