When was the last time if ever did you think about Water?
We keep hearing that you need to drink 8 glasses of water a day for our health.
Well, aren’t we the Lucky ones who actually have access to clean water.
I know many of you who are on this path and get it, are totally aware of everything I am about to write.
But for those of you who don’t know or just dismiss it and go. Oh that just happens to those people in other countries.
I urge you to Stop and consider everything you read here the next time you take a shower, put the kettle on or go to your tap for a glass of water.
I was recently invited to The Charity Water Event in London.
I first heard of Charity Water through a video that Mike Dooley put out and after seeing that video, I could not stop crying and as is my nature I rang the New York office immediately.
They then put me in touch with what was the brand new headquarters in London, last year and well as they say the rest is history.
Of course I immediately also bought Scott Harrisons Book Thirst.
It is completely mind-blowing.
I cannot sit here and just do nothing and frankly nor should you.
Water, food, shelter are all of our basic human rights and needs.
Just because you happen to live in a country like say England or the USA or Australia.
What gives us the right to have access to clean water and not our fellow brothers and sisters in the
Which don’t even get me started are not poor its just that they have had their wealths stolen. But this is a topic for another day.
I can feel my blood boiling as I write this.
So back to Water.
Because of the phonemonal work that Scott Harrison of Charity Water has been doing for 13 years. He and the generosity of many many charitable and kind and giving souls.
They have been able to give access by providing clean, safe and life giving water to millions of people around the world.
Imagine these people have been walking on their land their whole lives and having to resort to going to disease ridden watering holes.
Were it not for Charity Water who with generous donations, the communities through the funding of wells are able to now access fresh clean water that was right under their feet all along.
Now Over To You
So the next time you go to Starbucks for the 5th time this week please spare a thought and perhaps just go 3 times instead and donate the money you would pay for that cup of coffee to something worthwhile.
Put on your kettle at home. I mean did you ever really think what a luxury that is. Make your cup of coffee at home instead.
Or are you still walking around sleepwalking and taking everything and everyone around you for granted.
I am saying it as it is. This is the simple truth of the fact.
So you know what to do, if your heart and mind are aligned. Please do not hesitate and get in touch with Charity Water. Donate what you can and make a difference to someone’s life.
Why should your family drink clean water whilst so many go without.
Not even to mention the terrible toil this takes on the women that have to carry huge and heavy jerry cans.
What was the last thing you truly carried that was heavy?
To me, I carry a heavy heart knowing that I would never sit here without doing something.
Over To You Now
As always, Love Saskia xxx
